What is GEO or AEO, and how is it different from regular SEO?

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) refer to the practice of structuring your content and entity signals so that AI assistants cite your business when answering buyer questions. Traditional SEO optimizes for ranked positions on a search results page. GEO optimizes for inclusion in the AI-generated answer that now appears before or instead of those ranked results. They share some foundations (good content, proper schema, strong entity signals) but GEO adds specific layers like llms.txt, answer-first content formatting, and AI-surface citation tracking that classic SEO does not address.

How is this different from the SEO service WebLaunch already offers?
